Henry, well, if I may be so nosy, why are you moving? Do you have another place picked yet?

I occasionally look. A little over a month ago a site showed an opening in an approximately 2 year old building just a few minutes from me. Everything I had seen come up there before were to high for my assistance program. When built they got some help, so some were a little less nice I suppose is a way to put it. and those were for income restricted. Well not did one come open and get taken and get taken! But another person had given an end of January notice. But the management co had been authorized to put it on $100 deposit! So made contact, looked. Quite nice, hardly lived in. Got to the guys office, He's punching on his laptop. It's gone he says. He moved his mouse around, but I have same price in six weeks, same layout. So I went home applied paid the $100, he says that locks it to me. I also paid the background check fee. Then I had have my income verified also before they had the check ran.
Wednesday morning I got the call.
No steps outside. Elevator inside. Chute down the hall for garbage! Small balcony, if where he said facing East so morning sun. stacked washer dryer. Over the stove microwave. Dishwasher. Large bathroom.
Losing my included cable, can't have a satellite, and building wasn't wired for cable, grr.
Building has internet provider, but I may not like the price.

Henry, that new place certainly sounds nice. I'm happy for you. Will you have help moving? That's always a major project. No cable TV? That's seems odd. Surely residents want to watch TV. Maybe there's a big dish on the roof for TV for everyone.

Manager made it sound like they took the trade off wiring for internet, skipping coax install because streaming was already big.
I do have two smart tv's. Plus one of my echo devices has fire tv built in.

I have a younger friend that is willing to help some. he has pick up with a full 8 foot box. My case manager with my health plan has authorized my Tuesday, Thursday girl to help pack, place everything again. And not having to do stairs on both ends will help.
Younger sister had best help, bought her an SUV and she has not paid much yet.

Henry, good to hear you'll be having help.
When we moved to this house I did most of it myself. I'd get up extra early before work & pack my SUV full. Then after work I'd take all the stuff into the house & Carrie & I would put it away.
When the trailer was empty except for 3 large items I couldn't lift by myself my boss at the time helped me load those into his truck & then move them into the house.
