There was a time when I watched a lot of Court TV. One of the first cases, at that time, was the O J Simpson trial. Then, there was the trial of a woman who cut off her husband's penis, drove off in her car and threw it out the window!
Her defense was that he routinely raped her. His penis was ultimately found and re-attached ..... and she was acquitted!!!
I wonder if Comcast offers Court TV. Guess I'm gonna find out.

Sandy, if you have an antenna, scan your channels and watch it that way. I keep an antenna permanently connected to one of my TV inputs. This will not interfere with your cable service.

I often watch court shows on TV like: Justice For The People (formerly called The People's Court), Personal Injury Court & Judge Judy.

Yeah, the one I liked was "The People's Court." Unfortunately, the heavy dose of commercials finally took it's toll.

Another case heating up in Idaho is the Idaho Student Murder Trial involving Bryan Kohberger, another death penalty case. The start of trial has been delayed by multiple defense motions. But as of today time has run out for Mr. Kohberger. In a final defense alibi motion the judge ruled that today is the deadline for him to produce his alibi. Kohberger is charged with 1st degree murder in the stabbing deaths of 4 college students.
If convicted, Idaho law allows for death by firing squad.
How exotic... Oh my!

Carl, I don't have an antenna. Where would you suggest that I buy one -online of course? Also, I'll need to know if my Comcast TV package provides access to Court TV. Also, what if my TV lineup doesn't include Court TV?

The Kohberger alibi defense deserves closer scrutiny. First and foremost is the fact that during the time investigators claim the murders took place Kohberger's phone was turned off. And how to explain his DNA found on the scene? He's got a lot of explaining to do if that alibi is gonna fly. And it better be more than, "He was star gazing," as his lawyers allege.

Kohburger's lawyers claim he was star gazing at the time of the murders? What a bizarre alibi !!
Methinks that his DNA at the scene almost guarantees a conviction. Nevertheless, I have to wonder what his motive really was and/or if investigators found any connection between Kohburger and the victims. Might he have been delivering drugs?

The prosecution is examining Karen Read's pre-sentencing statements. The judge has yet to rule whether her statements, some quite incriminating , will be admissible at trial.
Should be interesting...
During this pre-trial hearing Read's third party defense is called into question by the prosecution. The judge has already shown a reluctance to accept the defense 3rd party strategy.
presently, the prosecution's case in the Doomsday Prophet Murder trial continues with testimony from investigating officers.

In the Doomsday Prophet Murder trial there are so many unsettling details never revealed during Lori's trial. My goodness! These two culprits were diabolical beyond words!
