The day before Harvey hit Houston, Diane (Hey Red) in Florida, sent me a PM with her phone number should I need anything, or just want to talk to somebody. I found that PM today and called her. She survived Irma, but her car is damaged, and she has no electricity. The good news is that they are supposed to turn it back on today. The really bad and truly sad news is that her daughter, who had leukemia, died the day before Irma struck.
Two of us here, Gary and I, were lucky; Diane was not, but I'm glad she is okay.

I am glad Diane is ok. I am so sad to hear about her daughter. I had a brother who died with Leukemia when he was 12 yr old. Back in 1961. I will be praying for Diane and wishing her comfort and strength in her time of need.

Thanks for contacting Diane and letting us know the story, Sandy. That's terrible news about her daughter.

Henry, every time anyone opens a topic it's counted as a view. That includes member & guest activity.

My heart goes out to her It was so close for us that I still can't get these 80 year old nerves to settle down I guess time will take care of it. I hope
