Cathy I'm pretty sure that there isn't a way to mark a group as read in this forum. There are a lot of odds and ends of things different in this forum then the old one but so far this proboard forum is the closest to the old phpforum that I've seen.

Cathy I just found where to mark a forum as read.
Open the forum you want to mark as read and click onto the "actions" down arrow and you will be given the choice to mark the forum read.
The menu under Action changes depending on whether you're within a thread or just within a forum.
