Today's the day. Though we've had cold & sometimes snow all month.
What's notable to me about this day though is that it's the shortest day of the year. Which means from here on out the time it gets dark will gradually advance. I don't care for night coming not long after suppertime.

Have had a few dusting of snow, stuck in the grass a couple days.
Earlier Saturday I noticed the back parking lot, gravel, had running water. Then about 9pm the front sidewalk was damp it was more than drizzling. On 12.23.23 in Da middle of MN

Henry, yeah, unusually warm weather in December here in PA too.
Normally it'd be 10° or less by now for about 6 weeks, until the January thaw, with at least one snowfall measured in feet.
But our recent 3" of snow, the most we've gotten, is all melted. And temps this week will be in the high 40s during the day & above freezing overnight.
Which I surely don't mind. Haven't had to go out & snow-blow our & the neighbor's driveway. And the furnace hasn't been kicking on as often which means lower heating bills. Less of my money burning up, which is how I picture it when I hear the gas boiler click on often.

Henry, 43° here this a.m. with a high of 52° so of course no snow. None the rest of the week either, only rain.
