In 2024, Social Security recipients will see their monthly checks grow by 3.2%, the third-largest cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) of the past decade.
But when exactly will you receive the first of those fatter checks?

The last time there was a SS increase, I got an "extra" 4 bucks added to my monthly payment. Kind of shows how small my SS take is  |

Dave, well, after the raise everyone's amount decreases 'cause Medicare raises its monthly rate. If I recall rightly the increase this year is $10.  |
