You can significantly speed up your browser by updating and clearing its collected data regularly. With just a few clicks, you can speed up your browsing experience on Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox, and Internet Explorer.

One trick I've learned when my Firefox browser slows down.
I used to use Bleachbit to clear the cache. But awhile back that quit working with my Ubuntu OS & surfing the Web at times after that would get quite slow.
So now I get into Firefox's Settings>Privacy & Security>Cookies & Site Data>Manage Data. There I remove cookies & MB storage for sites I've visited but don't visit daily. Keeping my favorites.
Am often surprised how many cookies just one site can store in the cache. Like right now one site shows 20 cookies. And another shows 19 MB of storage.
Clearing such data has often freed-up, in total, up to 100 MB of storage for my next online session. Which keeps Firefox from bogging down.
