Those're frequent here. Let's see now:
Once again no mail delivered. Meaning Carrie's monthly stipend check issued by her financial agent. The agent mails it on the 27th of each month. Still not here on the 5th of this month. Which isn't the first time this has happened. Then a new check is issued. And oddly, the missing check never shows up, isn't returned to the sender.
Another thing, that check takes 3 days to get here. From a city only 25 miles away. A place I've driven to myself in 40 minutes.
I pay all my bills by mail. Which have gotten lost in the mail for awhile & delivered late resulting in double-billing the next month. Then after I've paid the double-bill my original payment shows up about 6 weeks later. Which I get credit for.
Frequently I get my neighbor's mail & they get mine. So that we have to exchange mail.
When the regular mailman goes on vacation the new guy doesn't look for the red flag up on my mailbox if I don't get mail. So I have to chase him down & hand my bills to him. One time a new guy, with the red flag showing & bills in the box, placed new mail on top of the bills. Without taking the bills.
How about you, do you have problems with mail delivery?

Yes Pete, I have the same problem of the mailman putting mail on top of the bills I'm trying to mail. He usually comes between 3 & 4 pm but, for the last 2 months he doesn't show up till about 7pm.

Bob, I don't get not taking the mail thing. A mailman only has two jobs: deliver mail & pick up outgoing mail. Even if the red flag wasn't up mail going out with no postmark over the stamp should be obvious.
Our mail here comes about 1:30. 7:00 is way too late IMO.

Not really. Once in awhile I might get a letter for the folks next door, or they'd get one of mine but other than that it's been "business as usual".
I have my retirement check on direct deposit to my account and receive a paper copy a day or two later. Also, never had a paper payment that I was mailing, delayed.
Postal Service is OK with me.

Dave, I should've said before that mix-ups at our mailbox & such only happen when our regular mail carrier is on vacation.
Our regular guy is efficient & dependable.

At times we have gotten mail after 7. We have also gotten mail for a building a block away, so in that case one number was different. But I have seen news stories where a Carrier loads & goes, no longer sorts, so at least two people have messed up.
Most recently I had 2 identical packages coming, ended up padded envelopes. Both were scanned as in town, then out for delivery. Wonderful. Spectacular, 1 was late, or one was early I'll not complain.
Notice came on phone, package delivered, as in 1.
So I went downstairs got the mail, both were there.
Buy his not separateting not only was notice wrong but seller only got notice of one delivery.
