Was just at a grocery store's lunch-meat & salads cases & while waiting to be served I noticed a girl cleaning the glass of those. She flipped-up a big front window so that she could spray & wipe the inside of that panel.
Directly below that on the outer edge of the shelf below were uncovered containers of pasta salad & such. I've used Windex myself & there's always a drifting mist that falls below the stream of it. So I imagined that mist hitting the food. And regular cleaning would result in an accumulated coating. Not what I'd call healthy.

I wouldn't eat there if I saw that. I think someone should inform the manager.

Handy, from my experience on such things, one wouldn't eat anywhere if they knew what goes on behind the scenes or not noticed being done.
I once worked in a restaurant as a dishwasher in my teens. One time another worker dropped a pot of just-cooked yams on the floor meant to be taken out to the steam table, for the customers. The boss had that person sweep up the yams with a broom & dust pan, dumped back in the pot & taken out for the diners.
