Starting tonight thru Saturday a.m. lake-effect snow will be falling.
The prediction is 6" but that's for the city in the valley, 6 miles from here. Atop this mountain range we always get more so it could be 8".
I'll be out there for sure after with the snow-blower. I can hardly wait.

I'm pretty far down the snow-clearing list at our home. At the top is my SIL (age 68), then my grandson (28), grand-daughter (22), daughter (66), finally, me (90) and lastly my wife (86) Takes a pretty big storm to get me onto the clearing crew !

Dave, so, being older has its advantages. Dunno who'd take over snow-blowing here if I were unable to. The landlady's husband, whose snow-blower I use, is unable to do it any more due to a heart condition & I've never seen her do it. Carrie surely couldn't do it since she's disabled. Last winter though the neighbor across the road came over with his garden tractor with plow & did it for us. So maybe he'd take over that job regularly?

Got 4" overnight. Got out the slow-blower this a.m. & took care of the driveway. Wasn't bad a'tall since there was no wind.
Still snowing & will until early tomorrow. Another inch so far...
