Though its been like spring for about 10 days, with daytime temps close to 60° & sunny, that temp is about to drop tomorrow into much colder temps & a big snowstorm will be moving in tomorrow evening thru Tuesday a.m.
Weather Channel predicts we'll get up to a foot of snow. If we do, that'll be the heaviest snowfall we've had all winter.

Ha! With all the hyperbole for the past week about the "major" snowstorm headed our way the actual result is laughable. Nearly constant coverage on the Weather Channel, Winter Storm Warnings, school closings & cautions to not be out driving...we got less than inch of snow & the "storm" is over. And the snow's already melting.

Haven't been out but looks like 5-6" of wet snow. First snowfall of any consequence, here on the southcoast of Mass.
SIL took care of the drive, walk and sidewalk. Thank the Lord for snowblowers.
When I was much younger we used to get more snow, most winters, and it was all shoveling. No snowblower.

The rain and dusting that went through here was the same storm that came on shore in CA, did it go coast to coast or did Yours come in from the Atlantic?

Dave, figured you'd get hit with more snow since that storm was a Nor'easter. BTW, when we were kids was the snow really deeper or only seemed so 'cause we were much shorter?

Yeah I think the west coast storm passed north of us and was pushed in that direction by the Nor'easter that came up the coast.

So Dave from a Land locked guy, (MN has more shoreline than many coastal States.) Where does a Nor'easter Typically come ashore?
I heard some of NYC was gifted 6".
