Yep, according to the world, I am an old codger!😭 As I always say: "You have to grow older but .. you never have to Grow Up!"🤣 Now, the question: Any of you remember these great songs and the era? I miss it all!☹️

Paul, if remembrance of those songs makes one an old codger then I'm right up there with you since I recall most of those.

Speaking of older tunes, one of my favorites was just playing on a Classic Rock channel I'm listening to on my TV.
Always have thought this song is cool. By Canned Heat, 1968.

And while we're on Canned Heat, here's another good one. 1969.

1972 ? I was moving into my 40's then. Maybe my kids (who are now all in their 60's)would be more familiar with them

Oh, I hadn't noted that '1972' before.
Back then I was making a transition from mild rock & roll, like the Beatles & Herman's Hermits. To the harder rock like Steppenwolf, Alice Cooper, Kiss, Led Zeppelin & Black Sabbath.
My favorite band though since those days is Pink Floyd.

Paul, my liking of Pink Floyd began when I was in 12th grade & came across one of their songs on MTV. Yeah, way back when MTV actually aired music.
Liked 'em enough that I went out & bought their LP record "Dark Side Of The Moon." And the rest is history...

"Dark Side of the Moon" rings a bell. A lot of the music mentioned is familiar as our kids had the albums and played them constantly, or so I recall.

Dave, then likely you'll recall the album cover for Dark Side Of The Moon:

Bob, 95, wow. And I'd thought I was getting up there when I turned 70 recently.
Good to see you posting. Don't be shy about it from now on, ya hear?

Paul, I sometimes wonder whatever happened to all the albums I had. Carrie still has all of hers, about 25 of 'em. Long ago when I'd first met her I picked one up, opened the cover & removed the LP. When she saw that she said, "Don't touch those!" Apparently she treasures those.

I had a large collection of record albums, but when I moved I gave them away.
