Henry, well, that's good news for you. No problem with that here. But there is one: our water has so much chlorine added to it that it smells & tastes like swimming pool water. So I got a Pur water filter tank I keep on the kitchen counter for the water that we use for drinking & cooking. It requires replacing the filter every two months. It holds two gallons.

There knock off filters out there.
I have a filter pitcher in use to see if I can improve the taste.
Have you looked up the water report to see what the are doing it for?

Henry, haven't seen those filters but then the only place I've looked & gotten mine is at Walmart.
Why does your water need improved?
Don't need to lookup our water company's report. They mail one out once a year. But I looked up why chlorine is used:
Water chlorination is the process of adding chlorine or chlorine compounds such as sodium hypochlorite to water. This method is used to kill bacteria, viruses and other microbes in water. In particular, chlorination is used to prevent the spread of waterborne diseases such as cholera, dysentery, and typhoid.
