I FINALLY GOT NOMAD TECH SUPPORT ON THE PHONE. THE GUY SAID THE REASON THE BOX WOULD NOT CONNECT WAS BC THE LINE THAT THEY GAVE ME WASN'T CONNECTING TO THE TOWER SO HE USED A DIFFERENT LINE. SO I AM UP AND RUNNING~!!!!!!!!!!
MY DOWNLOAD SPEED IS 74.0
UPLOAD SPEED IS 24.4 WHICH IS EXCELLENT COMPARED TO WHAT I HAD BEFORE.
I SURE DO HOPE THIS HEADACHE IS OVER WITH.

PETE SOME DAYS MY DOWNLOAD SPEED WITH T-MOBILE WAS 1.0. THE CONNECTION WASN'T STRONG ENUF TO PRINT ANYTHING FROM MY LAPTOP AND I HAVE TO HAVE WIFI FOR MY PRINTER.
I HAVEN'T REALLY BEEN ON MY LAPTOP THAT MUCH TODAY, BUT I DID BRING MY TABLET IN MY ROOM AND I WATCHED ONE EPISODE OF TEXAS WALKER.
IT DID NOT BUFFER ONE TIME.....SO FAR I AM REALLY LOVING THIS NEW INTERNET.
I READ A LOT ABOUT HOW BAD TECH SUPPORT WAS AND THAT IS "TRUE". IT TOOK ME HOURS TODAY BEFORE I COULD GET AHOLD OF ANYONE.
ONCE THE GUY TOOK MY CALL......IT TOOK ABOUT 25 MINUTES TO GET MY WIFI UP AND RUNNING. IMMEDIATELY I STARTED DOING SPEEDTEST TO TEST THE SPEED AND I WAS HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS.
GETTING SIGNED UP WITH NOMAD WAS A BIT COSTLY BUT IF IT CONTINUES TO DO ME WELL...........IT'LL BE VERY WORTH IT.

Anna, that's all good news. Happy to hear it. BTW, my Internet "speed" with Verizon DSL is 1.5 MB. But, that suits my needs just fine. All I really do online is read articles & watch a video at times. And I get around OK with no lagging.

@pete......I WAS TOLD YESTERDAY THAT I RUN OFF OF A VERIZON TOWER. WHEN I FIRST CONNECTED TO WIFI ON MY LAPTOP IT SAID "VERIZON" SO I HAVE IT TOO.
I KNOW ALL TOO WELL ABOUT SUCH LOUSY DOWNLOAD/UPLOAD SPEED...........SOMETIMES NUMBER'S DIDN'T EVEN REGISTER. THAT IS WHAT I CALL SUPER LOUSY.
IT DOESN'T TAKE MUCH TO STRESS ME OUT BUT WHEN I DO GET STRESSED OUT......LORD AND BEHOLD SPARE ME LOL
I HAVE CRIED AND CURSED DEALING WITH T-MOBILE. IT IS SO WEIRD BC FOR 11 MONTHS I HAD EXCELLENT SERVICE, THEN IT WENT TO "NOTHING" AND THEY COULDN'T GIVE ME ANY ANSWERS.
EVERY SINGLE TIME I CALLED THEM A PERSON TOLD ME SOMETHING DIFFERENT EACH AND EVERY TIME. I TOLD THEM THEY NEEDED TO GET THEIR SHIT TOGETHER AND I MEANT IT TOO~!!!!!!!!!
DEALING WITH PPL THAT CAN'T SPEAK CLEAR ENGLISH WAS A BIG DOWN FALL AND I WAS RUDE CONSTANTLY TELLING THEM I DIDN'T KNOW HOW THEY GOT A DAMN JOB WHEN THEY CAN'T SPEAK CLEAR ENGLISH.......THEN THEY START TALKING LOUDER AND SAYING "CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW"? OMG THEY ARE A JOKE~!!
I KNOW I AM NOT THE ONLY PERSON THAT DEALS WITH THAT BY A LONG SHOT BUT IT IS VERY ANNOYING.
