You may recall that in mid-January I'd posted that I'd decided not to install Pro 'cause it required my signing-up for it with personal info I wasn't willing to supply.
Anyway, the download has been there waiting for me to accept it in the Software Updater (SU) for 2 months. Which I've ignored for that long thinking it'd always be there until I did. Which I'd found annoying.
But yesterday when I checked the SU I was surprised to see that it had vanished. All I saw when I opened the SU then was "This computer is up to date." Guess Ubuntu took the hint that I didn't want it. Fine with me.
