Many shoppers frequent dollar stores for their low prices and convenience. However, one discount chain is raising prices…again.
In a recent earnings call, Dollar Tree announced that shoppers can expect to see higher prices this year, with over 300 items increasing to $7 in 3,000 stores nationwide. The retailer’s full suite of products will now range in price from $1.50 to $7.

For years I went to Dollar Tree once a week for a bagful of items.
But when they raised the cost of those by 25¢ each I began not going as often. Nowadays I rarely go there. Just not worth it to me anymore' cause I can find the same items elsewhere for the same price or even less.
For one example: I used to buy a brand of toothpaste at DT for $1.00. Now I buy the same brand & size at Walmart for the same dollar.
With DT's additional 25¢ increase they'll not likely see me much anymore.
