I find this feature quite useful when composing a post since I sometimes have to leave a post to acquire info eleswhere relevant to my comment. Here's how to enable Draft:
To enable the drafts feature, click the Profile button found in the top menu bar of the forum, and then on your profile page click the Edit Profile button. You will then be taken to the Edit Profile & Settings page for your account; once there, click on the Settings tab. When the page loads, you'll find the Enable Drafts located as the fourth option on the page. Set this to Yes and save the changes. Once this is done, drafts of your posts will be saved so that you can restore from them as they are needed.

I like that it then saves it by it self much like writing an email.
I always open a new tab to gather info.

Henry, I prefer the draft method 'cause as often as I've tried the new tab method I still don't have the hang of it. More often than not I screw it up & am left with only one tab open.
