Pete, the transport chair also looks a lot lighter weight than a wheel chair.

Sandy, yeah it is. When it's folded up there's two straps used for carrying it. I'd guess it only weighs about 20 lbs.

Hi Sandy, SK gave me that nic name many years ago and I've just kept it. Pete doesn't call me that. He calls me "Anna".
How are you doing in Texas? I haven't seen you around in this group in a long time.

Pete...........when I was in Ohio Steve and I would spread "Weed and Feed" but it never stopped them Dandelions from growing in my yard. As I said the neighbor had a yard full of them and they didn't dispose of them and the seeds would blow over in my yard. As I told you it was a pain in my arse every summer. Some ppl likes them and they make jelly with them. Myself I had enough canning to do with my big garden I had. The only jellies I made were JalapeƱo Pepper Jelly and Strawberry Jelly.

Anna, my dandelion attacks have been whilst the flowers were still yellow. Wanted to get 'em before they went to seed & made more next year.
In the past week I've chopped about 2 hundred flowers. And when I looked at the lawn this a.m. there were a hundred more. Don't like admitting it but I gave up today.
The landlady sprays the lawn each year for those so it's up to her now.

Hi Anna!
"You wrote, "How are you doing in Texas? I haven't seen you around in this group in a long time."
I'm in Houston, TX and I really love it here. I've lived in Washington DC and Florida, but this is my favorite place.
I haven't been posting recently because my computer imploded, due to an evil upgrade. Now, it performs reasonably well in the AM, but is erratic in the PM hours. So, I hope to visit here, mostly in the early hours.

Henry, no, when I was pulling the flowers by hand I threw them in the trash can. Got tired of picking & used a weed-eater.

Henry, no, not reseeding using the weed-eater scattering seeds around. None of the dandelions have gone to seed yet. Which is why I was attacking them when I did. To prevent each flower resulting in 20 seeds for next year's batch. Told the landlady yesterday I'd given up. She was OK with that 'cause she'll soon be spraying our lawns with weed-killer.

Hi Swampygal, - Just wanna say that your picture doesn't match your name. You look far more sophisticated than that name would imply. Sandy, SK nic named me "Swampgal" in 1997 when we were in Pete's group on Webtv and I haved used it since. So I am Anna Aka Swampygal :-) I use to have an Alligator on my picture years ago lol
