You may have forgotten your password or are just helping out a friend who lost access.
Or you're locked out of your Facebook account (for suspicious activity or because you’ve been banned) or have been hacked. No matter what the reason, there are some steps you can take to get your account back.

Pete, I've never posted on Facebook. In fact, I've never even visited the group. Have you? Do they call it "Facebook" because members are required to provide pictures of themselves?
At any rate, FB is way too large for me. I prefer posting in a friendly small group - like this one.

Sandy, no, I've never joined or posted in Facebook. Though I have visited it looking to see if folks I know are on it. Some of whom I've found. Not sure why it's called Facebook. Anyway, I prefer communicating with folks thru e-mail or in-person. Meaning privately. With the exception of our forum of course.

Besides far flung family, whose post are only seen by the people on their friends list, I mostly am in local what Is called private groups, you have to ask to be in.

Henry, interesting. I hadn't known there are private Facebook groups. Reminds me of an online service where folks in the same neighborhood can share news & comments called Nextdoor
