We tend to think of bills as a fixed dollar amount we have no choice but to pay. But that's not always true. Companies need to keep their client base happy to remain in business, and many are willing to negotiate your bills if you just ask.
Here are five types of bills you might be able to reduce.

Thanks, Pete, for that info. I really want/need to bring down my cable/internet bill. I was thinking about calling them and the info you provided gives me added incentive.

Sandy, you're welcome.
Same here with the cable TV bill. In the past 6 months or so it went up twice for a new bill of $190 per month. A ridiculous price.
Anyway, the 1st time it increased I talked to my neighbor about it since she has the same service. She then called & got her bill reduced by $50.
I'd planned to call too but fooled & around & forgot till the most recent increase. Talked to her again & her bill went up too.
So her $50 savings was reduced by the $15 increase. So then I thought: What's the point in calling? Eventually the bill will go right back to where it was. I mean our cable company raises the cost twice a year, every year.

Sandy back when it changed from included have you spoken with any neighbors that changed providers?
I for sure would tell them you're just going to stream.
