This morning I had to be at the Surgery Center at 5:15 Am for a Nerve Burn Procedure. I was taken back to the surgery room at 7:15 am. I was brought into Recovery, then I was released to come home.
I took a 3-1/2 hour nap and woke up at 5 pm.
After the burning of all the nerves I was "VERY VERY SORE AND ACHY", but after I woke up from my nap I felt much better.
I ask the Surgery Nurses exactly what they were going to do with Nerve Burnings or how they do it. They told me the doctor goes in by each disk with needles and he cauterizes each nerve with different needles. The next thing I knew I was out of it until they woke me up in Recovery.
This discribes about the Nerve Burning so you can better understand it.
A local anesthetic is injected through the needle to numb the target area. A radiofrequency current is sent through the needle to heat the identified portion of the nerve. The current destroys that area of the nerve, stopping it from sending pain signals to your brain.

Here is hoping you feel even better in the Morning. And that your deductibles had been met.

Glad that all went well. To be honest, I had never heard of "burning nerves" before. Sounds like quite a procedure.

Thank you guys. I hope ya'll are right that I get some relief from pain. I had all this done in Ohio and nothing ever helped me, so if this helps it will be a miracle.
I just finished making Mama's Carrot 🥕 Patties yummy 😋Now I am sitting back down bc I am hurting.

Sandy my hopes of being free of pain is very low and the reason I say this is bc it didn't help me in the past when I had it done when I was living in NE Ohio. The doctor's always tells me sometimes procedures change so I shall see.
As far as sharing my Carrot Patties I def would love to. Mama always used her carrots out of the garden and if it they were not in season she would use the carrots she canned which are as good as being fresh.
I make them every now and then just like a make Salmon Patties every now and then.
