One thing to watch out for...
If you have Medicare parts A and B and are offered or are seeking a Medicare Advantage plan, Beware! Most of these plans have boards whose only purpose is to add to your medical expenses while denying services you are already paying for.
In some cases these boards have even denied services normally covered by Medicare parts A and B.

Carl, good points.
When I wanted to get Medicare I found the extra choices quite confusing. So I went to a health insurance agency's office. Turned out that the agent I talked to I went to high school with.
Anyway, he got me signed-up not only for parts A & B but parts C & D as well. All for a reasonable monthly cost.
C & D are with UPMC. I've dealt with them numerous times & would give them 5 stars for service.
Also my agent got me a Flex Spend card that pays for up to $300 a year for OTC drugs & supplements. I can also use that same card for copays at doctors' offices. And a PACE card that helps pay for prescription drugs, my copay for Rx drugs is only $8 for generic & $12 for the other.
I'm quite happy with it all.

Pete, good for you! Smart shopping. I've found my Tricare backs up my Medicare. No co-pays so far. My prescriptions are free at military clinics.

Carl, yeah it sure is & a big relief. I mean up until about 3 years ago I had no health care insurance of any kind & was often imagining myself needing medical care & then getting a huge bill I'd be unable to pay. Now, no medical bill worries.
