...you're not alone. For the past half hour I've had trouble with signing-in, slow response in doing so, or after getting in delayed navigation across the board.
Have cleared Firefox's cache & restarted my laptop. Neither action helped. Have seen the following message several times:
upstream connect error or disconnect/reset before headers. retried and the latest reset reason: connection failure
No error pop-up from Proboards, our host, so I'm not sure where the trouble is.

Well, here's what fixed it for me.
Before I'd only cleared Firefox's cache. But went back just now & also cleared Cookies & Site Data.
All is well now. Must've been a corrupt cookie in there somewhere.

Pete, the site was down for a short while. By the time you completed your troubleshooting the site was back up. Whenever this happens I check the is it down right now website. It's happened to me twice. Nothing to do but wait it out.

Carl, well heck, it's been so long ago that I've used Is It Down that I didn't think of it. With any future troublesome access that'll be the first place I go. Thanks.

You are welcome! One night the site was down for hours. The next morning it was back up. Whenever the site goes down I see an error msg. But when my TV browser is at fault then I see the bear. Grr!

This has been triple threat Thursday for me.
1 Big computer issues. 2. Problems accessing this site. 3. Heavy thunderstorms blew in, knocking out the power for over 2 hours.

Glad it helped. On another matter..
A while back you mentioned your MAC was having problems playing youtube videos. It occurred to me that most cable boxes have the youtube app. You can view all your videos on your TV.

Thanks again Carl - I'll look for the YouTube app on my cable box.
