It's been a slow, two-year build, but secondhand (aka “recommerce”) is coming into its own. The niche can be defined several different ways, but by all accounts, Walmart is leaning into Amazon’s refurbished product line rather than, say, eBay or Goodwill where “secondhand” goods are sold as-is.
The big box'er is expanding in other areas, too.

Somehow, it doesn't seem right to me that mega-retailer, Walmart, will be selling "recommerce" (second hand/used) products.
Plus, I fear that those items could too easily get intermingled with new merchandise - which opens a whole 'nother "can of worms."

Sandy, did some searching on your 'intermingled' concern. Which I could see happening if those items were stocked in an actual Walmart store. But what I'd found was that used goods are apparently only sold online on a site with a different URL than the usual one for Walmart. You can check it out here.

Well, I'm glad to hear/read that!

Come to think of it, I'd much rather see and inspect used items than buy them sight unseen - plus, pay for delivery.

Sandy, I dunno. I'd think that Walmart would only sell used items in good condition. 'Cause if not, the word would spread quickly on the internet with the complaints.
And traffic at their Resold website would diminish.
