Breaking News!
From Mississippi v. Carly Gregg, the jury has reached a verdict!
Deadly daughter Murder Trial
The Hon. Judge Dewey K. Arthur first addressed the gallery:
"The jury 's reached a verdict. I say this in every case. One half of this room, I don't know which half is gonna be upset. Do not add insult, injury to insult. If you, these people did not ask for this job. They didn't want the job. The state and the defense forced them into the job. You will not approve the jury's verdict and you will not disapprove of the jury's verdict or you will go to jail. There's a 30 day jail sentence for every outburst. I'm going to give anyone who does not believe they are able to control their emotions the opportunity to leave the courtroom at this time. Would anybody like to leave? Alright, Mr. bailiff please bring in the jury."
The Verdict: Guilty! Of Count 1: 1st degree murder; Count 2: Attempted murder; Count 3: Tampering with evidence.
Carly Gregg is guilty on all charges!

Deadly Daughter Murder Trial
Already the jury has a question for the judge. Jury's Question: What is life in prison without parole, years wise? The judge rules: "Attorneys can approach. Look at the note. Anybody need to review any further? Alright we'll mark this c next to the number for ID purposes only.
"Alright, well the truthful answer to that question is nobody knows. However, typically, all the court can say is something to the effect that you have received all the evidence and instructions in this case. Please continue your deliberations.
"I'll hear arguments from the state as to response."
State: No argument.
"By the defense."
Defense: No argument.
"I'm going to ask Miss. Butler or Miss Eaton to write that up."
