Changed my DPI setting on my PC from the 110 I've had since this PC was new, to 118. I'll be 57 next week, and don't wear glasses, just some cheaters for fine print. So all in all, think I've done well A Guy

UB, I'd say you're doing well. I've had trifocals for about 10 yrs now.

UB, what is DPI? Is it the same as font size? If so, I have mine set at 16. (The largest is 24). My eyes aren't that bad; I just like larger print.

Sandy DPI stands for dots per inch and it changes the size of text on the computer, not on the browser. The reason for changing it is to make it easier to read the text of programs on our pc's, such as games, wordpad, notepad and the names of the folders and icons on our pc's. It also enlarges the size of the text when we mouse over an icon or something down in our taskbar. UB I have mine set up at 125% but that's because I use a desktop and my monitor actually sits about 3 feet away from my keyboard & me. Sandy this is what the DPI setting looks like on a pc-

Thanks Nancy, I can read your 125% DPI setting, but I prefer larger print.

DPI makes print and everything bigger. It makes your icons bigger too, so sometimes things end up on different rows because of space. Some programs don't display buttons and such right if they are not written well. UB : )
