You might want to keep in mind that (as far as I know) the only legitimate posters who come here are ex-WebTVers (or their associates). I mean, who else knows about this group? Just sayin'. I dunno Cathy, but I made an amazing discovery today. I was searching about a specific subject via google and there on the front page of a gazillion references was my own post in a forum of ex-webtvers. That kinda blew me away.

Cathy, don't know that I can agree with you for several reasons.
First, this group is already known & listed in the major search engines I've checked. So, anyone can potentially find it.
Secondly, when this group first opened I was astonished as to how many guests showed up so quickly, the highest number I've seen was 72, in one day. I have to wonder how they found us.
Lastly, I'm conducting an interesting survey I've not posted about yet involving guests. As admin I can see their IP number, click-on it & be informed of their location: city & country. The first one I looked at was in Wales. Again, how did that person find us?

Yeah, Pete, but how many active, long-term posters here are not associated in some way with WebTV? How many in the former incarnations of this group?
I don't know what the high guest count business is all about. I remember that also being a mystery in the other group of this type that I once participated in.

Cathy, well yeah, I agree with you that the long-term, frequently active members here most likely were once WebTV'ers. I just meant that this group isn't known only to those folks. And I've noted that often new members, those unknown to us, are what I think of as hit & run posters. They post one time, maybe two, & then they're not seen again.
