I know some of you liked the new format of our former 4.0 group 'cause you could access & participate in the group thru your mobile phone. Well, when I was snooping around in the board settings here I noticed that Tapatalk is a working option here. From my understanding when you visit this group with your phone you'll see a banner to click-on that'll enable you to view this group in the mobile phone format. That's all I know about it. So don't ask me how to set it up & use it. One of you may want to test it out with your phone & report your findings here. So we've got the Tapatalk option without the awful board format we saw in 4.0. Can't beat that.

David, yeah, but I doubt if I'll ever choose to use my cell phone to access this group. It's a good thing for others who may want to though.

I am in a emphysema forum and some of those people will use tap-a-talk to access the group.
I would use it but I can't remember my password. I don't want to talk about it because it open a can of worms. Had trouble when I moved over to this forum. I stay signed in. If I ever lose that it will be hard to figure out what I did. We don't want to beat that dead horse with a stick if you get my drift.

David, I've got a similar potential problem with passwords. There are many sites where I'm required to use those & what I've done at each spot is have Firefox "remember" both my user name & password. For years Firefox has filled in that info for me, which means for a long time I haven't been required to recall those or type them in myself.
Which means if for some reason Firefox lost those I most likely wouldn't remember what each one was. Yeah, I know there are methods to recover passwords & usernames but doing so for every site requiring those would be a big headache.

Crazy thing about my problem is I have the user name and password written down. It has something to do with being in multiple forums on the ProBoards. I can get to them on this computer so that's all that matters to me right now. If I ever clear my passwords then I would have a problem.

I have the exact same issue as Pete. Safari had "remembered" my username and passwords, so they are autofilled at most sites, but I am often clueless.. Maybe a year ago, I began writing them down in a little address book, but most of them have been around a long time.
I realized I had a problem last month when I was checking out the quote issue with this group on my Chrome browser, which I downloaded, but never use. I had sent the link to this group to Chrome via gmail, but was required to sign in at gmail before accessing my email account. Heck, I created that account several years ago and cannot even believe the password I created at that time.

Sandy, I never wrote mine down anywhere so I'll be lost if Firefox ever loses them.
