Yeah, David, that's what I am seeing; you will get a tropical storm. I assume you will stay put in that case. Hope Diane and Gary will be okay.

Wealthy Floridians looking to escape Irma’s wrath are turning to corporate jet services, as major airlines cancel flights, airports close and Amtrak train service to the southern portion of the state has been suspended.

Since Gary had issues joining up here at Xtreme 5.0, I have continued to communicate with him regarding Irma at ye olde 4.0. Gary has been our first real victim of the 2017 hurricane season. My heart goes out to him and his wife. And, as I recall, his wife has serious health issues. Having lost his home and relocated, joining us here is likely a low priority for him at this time. So, I know many of you will want to join me in showing them our support in the thread below: www.tapatalk.com/groups/xtreme3/viewtopic.php?p=56694#p56694

I do feel sorry for all those effected by hurricane Irma.
Today I went to Church and came home. People are at the beach and the sun is out. I just hope it dies down quickly while it is on land.

Morning is breaking, so damage assessment will begin. One rather bizarre image we are seeing is the water sucked out of Tampa Bay.
More than 5 million people have lost power. Houston's Centerpoint Energy is en route with a fleet of trucks to help restore power to the area.
I hope Diane is alright and hasn't lost power while 'sheltering in place' in her apartment.

From everywhere they are rolling some will be diverted I hope, can't see letting all those trucks go all the way if not needed.
