A member had questioned as to why when she typed the keyboard characters that normally would generate a smiling face those actually created a different emoticon. Here's why that happened.
Y'all may recall that I replaced the tiny, barely able to be seen, emoticons in here with larger images I found online. If you simply type the keyboard characters that make a standard emoticon there's a good chance that it'll turn out to be something else.
Different sources use varying characters to create an emoticon. For example, the code for a smiley face in here is seen below. If you type the standard characters for an emoticon you're likely to get a different image than you normally would. To be sure you get the emoticon you want, open the drop down menu for those & click-on the actual image. Or, memorize the new keyboard characters.
