There’s a misconception that Linux users don’t need antivirus software. True, Linux does best Windows in the security space. On the contrary, antivirus software is a must for any computer. With the prevalence of malware and viruses, it’s essential to have maximum protection. Article Here

I have never really used an anti-virus program with Linux. I have checked some out but I end up taking them off.

David, on my former laptop I had ClamAV installed & would do regular scans for viruses, malware etc but in the time I used that laptop, about 2 years, nothing was ever found. So when I got the laptop I'm using now I didn't install any anti-virus program.
