That would be a spammer I caught a few days ago who had posted in our Consumer Corner's thread, Easy & Safe Ways to Make Money Online. Who had posted as a guest with a link to a gambling site that was basically a pyramid type scheme seeking new members.
Perhaps that person thought that I'm unable to moderate guests & their posts? Or that I'd not notice their spam? Both those assumptions are incorrect. I spend 50% of my time in this group behind the scenes & I see everything that goes on here & can moderate any content that appears on our board.
Anyway, I traced the spammer thru his IP number to Tangail, Bangladesh. And further traced him with a WhoIs tool that revealed info on the company behind the website & also checked a blacklisting site on which said company was noted.
So spammers, save your time & effort in posting your crap. You'll not get away with it here.
