David wrote: David I didn't know you had an Apple MacBook Air. When did you get it and how do you like it compared to other computers you have owned/used?
Also, what Safari OSX version is installed on your MacBook? Here are the different versions:
10.9 "Mavericks" 10.10 "Yosemite" 10.11 "El Capitan" 10.12 "Sierra"
Mine has the older "Mavericks" version

Gee I got it back in early 2016. It's a 13 inch. It's a macOS Sierra version 10.12.6
I like it I just had to get use to the way it is. I guess everything has a learning curve.

David, Sierra 10.12 is the most recent Safari OSX version. Mavericks 10.9 is the oldest one. So, I'm thinking that's why Safari works differently for us in this forum.

Olé!!! It looks like I was able to quote you, David, and write a response outside the box for the first time. I decided to try again and voila! I don't know what happened, but I'm gonna submit this to see if I'm dreaming.

I hope things get better.

David, sometimes when I'm having an issue, I reboot the computer and the issue is resolved. I rebooted my computer last night and the quote pita is history!! Also, my high speed internet was down for 4 days following the hurricane. Since it came back on, I had noticed a few other oddities that the reboot has fixed.
As customer service reps are prone to say, "Thank you (everyone) for your patience."
